Washington, DC – Chris Atchison and Don Stredney, Principal Investigators of the Opportunities for Enhancing the Diversity in the Geosciences (OEDG) Project:  “Expanding Geoscience Diversity through Simulated Field Environments for Students with Physical Disabilities” recently participated in a panel discussion during the fall National Science Foundation Directorate for Geosciences (GEO) Advisory Committee Meeting in Arlington, VA.  During the weekend, both also attended the OEDG PI meeting at the American Institute for Research in Washington, DC and presented project updates to Principal Investigators from other diversity-focused research efforts across the country.
