West Lafayette, IN – The Institute for Accessible Science (IAS) located at Purdue University announces two new programs designed to promote the inclusion of persons with physical disabilities in biomedical science careers.
The IAS Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program with an aim of providing talented undergraduate students with physical disabilities an opportunity to engage in biomedical laboratory research and enhance their preparation for graduate study. The IAS Graduate Fellowship Program with an aim of enhancing the inclusiveness of the graduate student body through the recruitment of students with disabilities as a result of their unique background, views and experiences by seeding their pursuit of graduate studies.
